Petition to the President and the United States Congress

Dear Mr. President and Leaders of Congress,

As citizens of the United States of America we hereby affirm that:

The Honorable, Rev. Dr Martin Luther King, Jr. not only fulfilled our constitutional right(s) as promised by our founding fathers; of life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness for all, but is also one of the greatest national & international leaders of the twentieth century.

Driving forward our national patriotic duty in interest for all its' citizenry, Dr King's vision of compassion, nonviolence and freedom is as necessary today as it was more than four decades ago. Dr King symbolizes the triumph of love over hatred, of nonviolence over violence, and of community values above all else.

We urge you to pass and sign legislation into law that not only mints, but also puts Dr Martin Luther King, Jr. as the face of a new Twenty-five Dollar Bill commemorating the historical & monumental contributions of Americans of color and of its greatest compatriot.
